Qi Pao dress by GRACE GUI
This Qi Pao Dress is hand knit with two strands of artisanal handspun 50/50 cotton silk from Japan.
Flower hammered with a bouquet bought from a local vendor in Brooklyn NYC. Felted with ethically harvested fiber from Boots, a GRACE GUI Studio angora rabbit, raised in Brooklyn NYC. Felted with hand-dyed and hand-raised silk fiber hatched from silkworm eggs and raised over the course of three months in Brooklyn NYC by GRACE GUI Studio. Finished with vintage deadstock silk frog closures from Michigan.
Each piece will be slightly varied due to the organic nature of the production style and design process of GRACE GUI Studio. Ends will be woven in.
