I absolutely love this late 1960s resort-wear dress. The print is a vibrant tropical floral, but for some reason it also evoke Christmas feelings, perhaps due to the palette— think Christmas in Hawaii! The dress may look simple upon first glance, but the construction is quite intricate. Pleating at the bodice centers upon a horizontally gathered waistband, all of which (in tandem with the full skirt) creates an hourglass illusion. The material does not wrinkle much, making it the most ideal dress to bring on a trip!

Measurements: Shown on a size 2 clipped at the waist to simulate proper fit. This works best for a modern size Small or Medium; the chest is forgiving thanks to the gathering and hips are open so pay attention to the waist measurement first.
Chest: 39" laid flat, with some extra room thanks to pleating/gathering
Waist: 29", up to 31" fully stretched
Hips are open
Length: 56" (can easily be hemmed)
