This romantic vintage red velvet dress was custom-made in the late 1930s (possibly early 1940s), and is entirely one-of-a-kind. The maxi-length crushed red velvet is so rich. It features a gathered empire waist, with long tailored sleeves that come to a point at the cuff. It was reworked and modernized around the 1970s, with a zipper added in the back, making it easier to wear. Because of the empire waist, this can also be an incredible vintage maternity dress. Closes in the back with a zipper.

The Antique Victorian Heart Locket pictured is also available. 

Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small, Small and possibly Medium; please refer to below measurements. It is smaller through the shoulders and chest, with more flexibility through the waist and hips.

Empire waist/underbust: about 29", gathering offers some forgiveness there
Hips are open up to 45"
Length: 53"


Good vintage condition overall; there were some repairs made to the fabric at the bottom skirt towards hem. Really liking these baskets. They're very sturdily built, and easy to hang with the included screws and anchors. They're relatively heavy, so definitely use the anchors if you aren't screwing them into studs. The little 'chalkboards' for labeling each one is a cute touch, and they come with three colors of chalk, as well. I did use a wood stain pen around the inside edges of the chalkboard holder's frame, so that it wasn't unstained and unfinished looking. The only one I had was walnut, so it's not a perfect match, but it makes it look more finished and I'm happy with it. I'm using one for holding mail above our key bowl at the door, and the other two are in my laundry room to hold my wool dryer balls. Just be sure to check the measurements so you know if they will work for what you plan to use them to hold.
