You all know Lemmy's signature sound - a bulldozer bass sound, ultra powerful, distorted, slightly fuzzy but with plenty of edge and definition for otherworldly power chords. Well, that's what OKKO offers you in this elegant little chassis. You will tell us that it is somewhat presumptuous to claim that you could obtain the same sound as a Marshall Super Bass stack with a 9V powered pedal... but it would be very bad to know our friend Heiko who, by dint of fine-tuning was able to capture the essence of the sound signature of this mythical figure.

The case is small and the pedal light, bassists will appreciate. As for the "interface", nothing could be simpler, 3 buttons: Faster which controls the Gain, Harder which allows you to work on the mid-highs, Louder which serves as Volume. Power supply on the top, high quality PCB, selected components, it's OKKO, it works, it's reliable and very well designed.

Once plugged in, there is no doubt that OKKO has done its homework well! In a word, MASSIVE! The Motörbass does not suffer from the faults of many bass distortions that lose precision and lack attack. The guitar-oriented pedals lack bass and sound too "thin". The Motörbass is a 30 tons launched in full descent, the attack is explosive, the Harder knob is of formidable efficiency and allows to add bite and precision even at high rate of gain. The pedal passes through the mix without ever being messy but while keeping this "halo" around the very particular sound that defines the sound signature of the gentleman. To sum up, the Motörbass is a big slap in the ears of the audience!

With this surprising Motörbass, the German brand gives us a superb pedal for bass players. She is not only what is closest to recreating this anthology sound today. It's also a superb distortion pedal in every sense of the word. With its unique signature and totally original circuit, it's a total success that we warmly recommend to all fans of hard rock and big sound in general.
